I started this series by saying that zero-to-one sales are different. One difference is that a smaller company can use a larger competitor's size and strength against them.

Here's a zero-to-one, small-company tactic to try in your next sales campaign.

Identify a competitor pursuing a similar prospect pool that is also active on social media. For this example, I'm using LinkedIn.

Go back through their LinkedIn posts and search for:

  • LinkedIn Events that they have publicized

  • Posts about events where they have tagged attendees.

  • Posts about events where there are Likes and Comments.
