It’s all about you.

When starting, many Average Entrepreneurs fail to realize that they are their startup’s sole channel.

Fewer still take the time to think through what a channel is and the characteristics of a “good or great” channel.

Whatever you write in the “Channels” box on the Lean Canvas, you’re unlikely to have customers appear automatically, ready to buy, when you start.

True, there are channels (Google and Facebook Advertisements ) where you pay to have customers click and arrive at your startup’s website.

But what will those visits cost?

What will be the expected rate of conversion from visit to sale?

How many prospects are needed to make your market big enough to bother with?

These questions and their answers differ by idea, startup and business model.
