Stop introducing yourself in cold outreach sales.

When meeting someone new, Average Entrepreneurs rightly introduce themselves. It is typical, expected and natural behaviour.

Zero-to-one sales are not typical.

A cold intro isn't natural.

It isn't expected. (It can even be unwelcome!)

And it's not about you.

So why would you introduce yourself?

Many instantly make a "Read or Refuse" decision based on the first few lines of an email — especially on a mobile device.

Polite introductions contribute to the "Refuse" decision. Here are two sample emails sent to the trash and one I read.
